Default Chosing a seperate title to display in town to out adventuring

In town you display a title to show off to other players, but when out fighting enemies you display a title for effect. So I propose that the title display option be divided into two tabs:

1 - The in-town title display selection. This is the current title display tab and lists all titles.

2 - The out of town display selection. This will only list the titles that produce some sort of effect when displayed, and only after you have obtained that effect (ie Asura rank won't be an option till you have acquired Edification).

When you are in town it will display your title from tab 1. When you are in an instance your title displayed will be switched to the one chosen in tab 2. If you haven't chosen a title in one tab then when you would be displaying from that tab it will instead display nothing.

This will allow allow you to change your effect title quicker (personally I prefer the dwarf title to the norn title when fighting destroyers) because you only have to look through the effect titles instead of all titles.

That it doesn't require a rocket scientist now doesn't mean that a method of making things easier doesn't have merit. I certainly wouldn't mind being able to clear some of the clutter when switching from, say, the Norn title to the Asura title.

And then you keep adding more and more of these "features" to make already easy to do functions even easier. Perty soon you have a UI that looks like crap or is so complicated it intimidates players.

the main problem with titles is that they are not really titles anymore... they are attributes. Titles that make your skills more powerful (as you lvl up) should be in the "k" Build window not the "h". That there are attributes that you have to turn on by changing your title is silly, and not the original intent of titles.

btw: this is not so much about being lazy (tho i understand how you might think that..) and more about game design.

I just want the titles sortable.

Make it so the checked title is always at the top. (Makes it easier to check Norn/Vanguard/Asura/LB/etc progress)

Then add sort options,
- by campaign
- Alphabetically
- by Rank/progress (current default)
- by category. (Rank hunts grouped together, Cartography grouped, Consumables grouped, etc) If sorted by category have the ability to collapse categories.
